一、詞匯口譯

二、口譯技巧

1.詞性轉換

動詞轉化為名詞

只有當我們這樣做了，我們才會在觀念上處于領先地位。
Only then can we be leaders in perception.

名詞轉化為動詞

擁有共同的標準，配以最佳的實踐，將是進一步推動我們這一產業與社會頸部的關鍵。
Sharing standards and best practices will be the key to further advancing our industry and society. （動詞短語作主語在譯文中轉化為名詞短語）

2.省略

電子商務不僅提高了我們的成效，也提高了我們的競爭力。
E-business is making us more effective and competitive.

化工產業正處于一個最能領悟IT發展潮流的時刻，即領悟這些發展趨勢所能產生的影響以及它們轉變商務的能力。
The chemical industry is positioned to best understand the IT trends, their impact and their potential to transform business. （原文之前提到過的內容再次重復時口譯采取省略技巧，并用代詞”their”替換）

3.邏輯關系轉化
大會組織者提出這樣的問題，在某種程度上暗示了我們正處在一個十字路口。By posing this question, the conference organizers are, in some way, suggesting that we are a at a crossroads. （原文中的并列關系轉化為譯文中的主從關系）

4.反譯

正如歷史上其他各技術領域一樣，電子商務所能產生的巨大影響須等到該領域的技術被普通百姓所接受的時候才會充分顯示出來。
Like every other field of technology in history, the tremendous potential impact of E-business will not show until the technology of this field is universally adopted by the people. （肯定轉化為否定）

5.主語較長時譯文使用形式主語it
如何通過電子商務把我們的同事、雇員、供應商、客戶以及其他每一位與我們有業務往來的人合理地聯系在一起，這是我們要做的事情。
It is up to us to make e-business both relevant and sensible to our colleagues, our employees, suppliers, customers and everyone else we do business with.

6.合并
我們的工作橫跨化工與IT兩大“技術”行業，作為這樣的專業人士，我們重視自己“共依共存”的優良傳統。
As professionals who work across both “technology” industries, chemical and IT, we can appreciate our rich history of “mutual-dependence”.
（前兩句合并為一個句子，兩句的邏輯關系為第二句為主句、第一句為轉化為定語從句，使譯文更緊湊。）
