關(guān)于朝鮮半島局勢(shì)
On the Korean Peninsula
近來，半島形勢(shì)出現(xiàn)起伏，對(duì)話進(jìn)程受阻，中方對(duì)此高度關(guān)注。為緩和緊張局勢(shì)，中方做了大量勸和促談工作。我們支持任何有利于維護(hù)半島和平穩(wěn)定的努力，支持各方進(jìn)行接觸和對(duì)話，希望有關(guān)接觸對(duì)話和六方會(huì)談能夠并行推進(jìn)。為此，我們歡迎半島北南雙方昨天在巴厘島接觸。
Recently, the situation on the Korean Peninsula has gone through ups and downs and the dialogue process has stalled. China is very much concerned about these developments, and has made a lot of efforts to encourage talks and defuse tension. We support any effort that is conducive to peace and stability on the Peninsula. We support contacts and dialogue between the relevant parties, and hope that the contacts and dialogue will proceed in parallel with the Six Party Talks. In this regard, we welcome the engagement between the DPRK and the ROK on the Bali Island yesterday.
六方會(huì)談停滯兩年多來，半島無核化進(jìn)程陷于停頓，半島和平穩(wěn)定受到?jīng)_擊，這種局面不符合任何一方利益。中方一貫認(rèn)為，六方會(huì)談是有關(guān)各方進(jìn)行有效溝通的重要機(jī)制，也是緩和緊張局勢(shì)、推進(jìn)半島無核化的有效平臺(tái)。希望各方共同努力，盡快重啟對(duì)話協(xié)商，共同維護(hù)半島和平穩(wěn)定。中方將一如既往發(fā)揮建設(shè)性作用。
Over the past more than two years since the Six Party Talks stalled, the denuclearization process on the Peninsula has come to a halt, and peace and stability on the Peninsula has encountered setbacks. This serves the interests of no one. China believes that the Six Party Talks is an important mechanism for the relevant parties to have fruitful communication and an effective platform to ease tension and promote the denuclearization on the Peninsula. We hope that the relevant parties will work together to restart dialogue and consultation as soon as possible and jointly uphold peace and stability of the Peninsula. China will continue to play a constructive role in this regard.
關(guān)于緬甸問題
On Myanmar
幾個(gè)月前，緬甸聯(lián)邦議會(huì)選舉出了新的國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人，順利實(shí)現(xiàn)向民選政府過渡。這對(duì)緬甸促進(jìn)民主與發(fā)展具有重要意義，值得歡迎和肯定。
A few months ago, the Assembly of the Union of Myanmar elected a new national leadership, and achieved the smooth transition to a civilian government. This is a significant and welcome development that will contribute to Myanmar's democracy and development.
緬甸是東盟大家庭一員，緬甸的繁榮和穩(wěn)定，符合緬甸人民的根本利益，也有利于促進(jìn)本地區(qū)共同發(fā)展和東盟一體化進(jìn)程。國(guó)際社會(huì)應(yīng)該尊重緬甸根據(jù)自身國(guó)情所選擇的道路。
Myanmar is a member of the ASEAN family. Myanmar's prosperity and stability is in the fundamental interest of its people and conducive to the common development of the region and the ASEAN integration process. The international community should respect the path chosen by Myanmar in keeping with its own national conditions.
中方支持東盟在緬甸問題上繼續(xù)發(fā)揮建設(shè)性作用，愿與包括東盟在內(nèi)的國(guó)際社會(huì)一道，繼續(xù)為緬甸國(guó)家穩(wěn)定與發(fā)展提供積極幫助，共同維護(hù)本地區(qū)的和平與發(fā)展。
China supports ASEAN in continuing to play a constructive role on the Myanmar issue and stands ready to work with ASEAN and the rest of the international community to help Myanmar achieve stability and development and to maintain peace and development of the region.
