fibre-flee The fight of a fledgling
初生牛犢不怕虎
He was only a fledgling student of Gong Fu,
雖然路易的功夫只學(xué)了 點(diǎn)兒皮毛, 還是個(gè)新手
but Louie thought he had the fibre to win a fight already.
但他自認(rèn)為已經(jīng)具備了 打贏他人的素質(zhì).
The fierce figure that approached him in the field was more terrifying than expected, however,
可是比賽場(chǎng)上朝他走來 的那個(gè)人十分兇猛, 比他想像的還要可怕,
and he suddenly had thoughts of fleeing.
于是他突然產(chǎn)生了逃 跑的念頭.
But he was firm in his resolution and he called his friends to his flank
不過他還是決心已定, 并把朋友叫到了他身旁
"Make sure he doesn't beat me too had."
"注意別讓他把我揍得 太狠."
He said as he flashed them a weak smile.
他一邊說一邊對(duì)他們閃 現(xiàn)出淡淡的微笑.
"Louie, don't flatter yourself.You can't take this guy!"
"路易, 別太自信了, 你不是這個(gè)家伙的 對(duì)手!"
Louie bent down and put his hand into the fine-grained sand at his feet.
路易彎下腰, 把一只手 放入腳下面的細(xì)沙中.
The hair on his neck was fizzling,
他脖子上的毛發(fā)出 嘶嘶聲,
but he knew he might need something extra to help.
但他知道他可能需要額 外的幫助.
The big guy was also certain to have some flaw.
那位大漢肯定也有他 的弱點(diǎn).
Then the fight began.
然后比賽開始了.
Louie was hit right away with the flat part of his opponent's hand.
路易被對(duì)方一平掌推 了出去,
This embarrassed him,
把他弄得十分尷尬,
even as he tasted the flavor of his own blood in his mouth.
就在這時(shí)他感到嘴里有 鮮血的味道.
When he looked up he saw his opponent take off his jacket with flange shoulders.
他抬頭一看, 對(duì)方正在脫上衣, 露出了凸肩膀.
He also put down a pipe that he had filed to a point.
對(duì)方還把一根挫尖了的 管子放在了地上.
Good, Louie thought, you think you can beat me easily. That's your flaw!
路易心想：好, 你以為 你能輕易打敗我, 這就 是你的弱點(diǎn)!
The fight went on for several more minutes.
比賽又進(jìn)行了幾分鐘.
Louie' s opponent began to tire; his strength was more finite than Louie's.
路易的對(duì)手開始感到疲 乏了, 他的體力比路易 更有限.
Louie was grateful for all of his fitness training,
路易歸功于他的健康 訓(xùn)練.
realizing that he was in fine physical form.
意識(shí)到自己體質(zhì)很好.
After Louie threw the sand in his opponent's face
路易把沙子撒到對(duì)手 臉上,
and punched him to the ground,
又把他擊倒在地,
the flame went out in his opponent's attack.He had lost. Louie had won.
對(duì)方進(jìn)攻時(shí)氣焰不那么 囂張了.他輸了, 路易 贏了.
