For those of you who I knew, my name is Mary Smith, and I'm the headmistress of this school.

I'd like to start our new term with a few notices.

First, I'd like to introduce two new teachers, Ms. Woods, our new music teacher; and Mr. Williams, our new French teacher.

Let's give them a warm welcome.

Now, I'll talk about some of the activities for this term.

After-school clubs, we'll start in week 2.
課后社團(tuán)活動(dòng)將于第二周開(kāi)始。
But the baseball club, we'll start in week 4.
但棒球在第四周開(kāi)始。
And there are several new clubs, too.
另外還會(huì)有幾個(gè)新社團(tuán)活動(dòng)。
The dance club will meet on Mondays, and the chess club on Wednesdays.
舞蹈放在周一，象棋放在周三。
Finally, I'd like to remind you that there will be several parent's evenings during this term.
最后，我還要提醒各位，這學(xué)期將有幾個(gè)父母之夜。
Year 7 will have one in September, Year 8 in October, and Year 9 in November.
七年級(jí)的安排在九月，八年級(jí)的在十月，九年級(jí)的在十一月。
