兩者均可用作副詞，表示“正確(地)”，常可互換，只是在非正式英語中多用 right。
You did quite right(ly). 你做得很對。
You guessed (answered) right(ly). 你猜(回答)對了。
If I remember right(ly), he was born in 1946. 要是我沒記錯的話，他生于 1946 年。
注：這樣用的 right 通常只用于動詞后，若用于動詞前則要用rightly。如：
He rightly guessed that she was a teacher. 他猜對了，她是個教師。
He’s rightly informed about the matter. 關于這個問題他得到的消息是正確的。
另外，用于句首也得用 rightly。如：
Rightly, he went with them. 他同他們一起去是對的。
