Lesson 1: What's Wrong, Danny?
第一課：丹尼，怎么了？
It's 3:00 a.m. Danny wakes up his parents.
現(xiàn)在是凌晨三點。丹尼叫醒了爸爸媽媽。
What's wrong, Danny?
怎么了，丹尼？
I don't feel well. My stomach hurts.
我感到不舒服。我胃疼。
You ate ten donuts for dessert! That's the problem.
甜點你就吃了十個炸面圈！是這個問題。
(He starts to cry.) I regret eating so many donuts now.
（他開始哭起來。）現(xiàn)在我后悔吃了那么多的炸面圈。
My stomach has never hurt this much before.
我的胃疼得比以往都厲害。
(He sits up and feels Danny s head.) You've got a high fever, son.
（他坐起來，摸摸丹尼的額頭。）兒子，你發(fā)燒了。
You look pale. You are sick, aren't you? We should go to the hospital.
你臉色蒼白。你生病了，對嗎？我們應(yīng)該去醫(yī)院。
Need we go there right now?
我們現(xiàn)在就要去那兒嗎？
Yes, we must.
是的，我們必須去。
Don't cry, dear. You'll be all right.
別哭，親愛的。你一定會好起來的。
Danny's father gets dressed quickly. He and Danny get into the car,
丹尼爸爸迅速穿好衣服。他和丹尼上了車，
and they drive to the hospital. Soon they arrive.
駕車去醫(yī)院。不久他們就到了。
Hi Danny. I'm Nurse Sara. Don't worry. The doctor will see you soon.
你好，丹尼。我是護士莎拉。別擔心。醫(yī)生馬上就來幫你看病。
She takes them to a small examination room. Soon, a doctor arrives.
她領(lǐng)著他們來到一間小檢查室。不久，一名醫(yī)生進來了。
Hi! I'm Dr. Ling. How are you feeling, Danny?
你們好！我是凌醫(yī)生。丹尼，你現(xiàn)在感覺怎樣？
(He points to the right side of his stomach.)
（他指著胃部右側(cè)。）
I've got a pain here. The doctor feels Danny's stomach.
我這里疼。醫(yī)生按了按丹尼的胃部。
Danny starts to cry again.
丹尼又哭起來了。
Pardon me, Danny. I know it hurts.
對不起，丹尼。我知道它疼。
He also has a fever.
他還發(fā)燒。
Danny needs to stay in the hospital tonight. We may need to take an X-ray.
今晚丹尼需要住院觀察。我們可能還需要（給他）做X光檢查。
(He takes Danny s hand.) It's going to be OK, son. I'll stay with you.
（他握著丹尼的手。）兒子，會好起來的。我會陪著你。
