M: Hey, Jane, look at you in the silk blouse and grey skirt, even high heels. Are you going to a job interview, or something?
男：嘿，簡，你穿著絲質襯衫，灰色短裙，還有高跟鞋。你是要去面試嗎？
W: Well, no. Actually, I've already got a part-time job for my summer vacation.
女：哦，不是的。其實，我已經找到了一份暑期兼職的工作。
M: Really? Congratulations! What kind of job is it?

W: A salesgirl at the Bay Department Store. This is my first day. Do I look professional enough?

M: You look fantastic. But as far as I remember, the salesgirls at Bay wear some kind of uniform, don't they?

W: Yes. But the uniforms are for the girls at cosmetics, electronics or children's toys sections. For the female clothes section, we tend to wear what we sell. You know, this is a kind of advertising.

M: Oh, yes. So you are like the models. From what you wear now, I assume you will be selling professional clothes for office ladies this summer.

W: Not the whole summer. As far as I know, the part-time salesgirls will be sent to the sections where hands are needed. Even though I will be selling women's clothes, I might also be working at the sportswear, jeans or even the underwear sections.

W: Sure, especially for a business management major.

M: What about the pay? Is it good?

W: We have a basic monthly salary, which is not much. But we can get the commission for each piece of clothes we sell. Besides, we can have discounts when buying clothes we sell.

M: Sound really good. Hope you enjoy it.
