人懶，加之最近腦子不太好使，欠下一批博文，待老鞋慢慢來還。

　　enable：使動

　　Once I was able to speak well. An accident disabled me. I became one of the disabled. I have been unable to speak. This inability enables me to live without trouble.

　　曾幾何時，俺也曾經能說會道。一場事故使俺殘疾。俺成了殘疾人中的一員。我從此不再能言。這種無能使我能生活無憂。

　　萬能寫作句型，老鞋隆重推薦：

　　Enable sb to do

　　陳述事物，經常要說好歹；表示支持，經常要說好歹。什么好處？怎么措辭？

　　別想了！萬事萬物的第一好處，都可說成“使某能夠干什么”，填空就是！

　　It enable us/people/the students to…

　　比如：支持核電站？使我們能用上電；支持死刑？使我們能預防犯罪……

　　什么？想不出使我們能干什么？服了你! 但老鞋也準備了一招，想想是否可萬用：

　　It enables us to live a better life. 它使我們可生活得更美好。

　　你服不服了me?

　　細察enable, able是“能”，en-自然為“使”。

　　If you try to enlarge your vocabulary, you make efforts to make it larger.

　　若你試圖擴大你的詞匯量，就是努力使之更大。

　　If you try to strengthen your body, you make efforts to make it stronger.

　　若你試圖強壯你的身體，就是努力使之更強壯。

　　If you enrage YOS, you make me angry.

　　若你惹惱了老鞋，就是讓俺生氣。

　　It seems that(看來)“en-”與名詞或形容詞勾結，弄出動詞，意義常為“使怎樣”。

　　動詞的屁股，還有三個常用的，套路也差不多。

　　-ize

　　If you want to realize your dream, you try to make it true.

　　實現夢想，即使夢想成真。

　　modernize our country=make our country modernize

　　使我們國家實現現代化。

　　-fy

　　justify my argument=make my argument just

　　論證我的觀點，即使我的觀點正確。

　　modify my plan（mod=model）

　　修改我的計劃（使其符合某種模式model）

　　-ate

　　activate the class=make the class active

　　激活一個班，即使一個班活躍。

　　motivate the teachers=make the teachers mobile

　　激勵老師們，即使老師們動起來。

　　把這些“使”堆在一起（還好不是“屎”），險惡用心在于曝光（expose）：英語的使動用法，相當于古漢語的使動用法，為現代漢語所無，值得特別關注(be worth special attention)。

　　在使動用法上，要像學文言文一樣學英語。

　　除了帶這幾個屁股的動詞常為使動詞，英語中還有一類詞全是使動詞，而且其分詞的功夫另成一派，值得特別考慮（deserve special consideration），請參看(please refer to)“邪說語法”之《使動詞》。

　　問個問題好了：puzzling與puzzled, 區別是什么？“我很迷惑”怎么說？搞不清的，老老實實看去。
