Revlon has previously warned it could be forced into chapter 11 if not enough bondholders participated in a restructuring that would exchange their claims at a discount.

Revlon Inc. is close to gaining enough support from bondholders to eliminate a key piece of debt and avoid a bankruptcy filing, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

2. 債券置換（bond exchange）：簡單來說就是把舊的債券換成一套新的債券。假設一家公司發行了1000萬的債券，即打了1000萬的欠條，答應一年后還錢，但一年后期限到了，公司卻沒錢還，那么公司可以和債權人商量，再打一張的新欠條，把上一年的老欠條換回來，但通常這個新欠條的還款期限會更長，同時債權人的收益也會更高。
