Devine, an artist, says training Bunny takes “a lot of patience and repetition.”

She presses a button, lets Bunny hear it, repeats the word and shows Bunny the activity it describes.

Devine isn’t sure if Bunny knows she’s “talking.” “I’m a hopeful skeptic,” she says.
