Hermione's white face was sticking out from behind a tree.
荷米恩蒼白的臉從樹后伸出。
“Harry, hurry!” she mouthed.
“快，快，哈利。”她叫著。
Harry could still hear Dumbledore's voice talking from within the cabin.
哈利還可以聽見丹伯多在小木屋里講話的聲音。
He gave the rope another wrench. Buckbeak broke into a grudging trot.
他又使勁地拉了一下繩子，畢克碧開始了一陣小跑，
They had reached the trees….
他們就要到達樹林了……
“Quick! Quick!” Hermione moaned, darting out from behind her tree,
“快點，快點！”荷米恩低聲喊著。從樹后沖出，
seizing the rope too and adding her weight to make Buckbeak move faster.
也抓住了繩子，兩人合力，畢克碧走得又快了一些。
Harry looked over his shoulder; they were now blocked from sight;
哈利扭過頭去看了看，現在他們在視線之外了，
they couldn't see Hagrid's garden at all.
他們已經看不到哈格力家的花園了。
“Stop!” he whispered to Hermione. “They might hear us.”
“停下！”他低著對荷米恩說，“他們可能會聽到我們——”
Hagrid's back door had opened with a bang. Harry, Hermione, and Buckbeak stood quite still;
哈格力家的后門“嘣”的一聲打開了，哈利，荷米恩還有畢克碧都靜靜地站著。
even the Hippogriff seemed to be listening intently. Silence… then —
連畢克碧都像是在注意地聆聽著。沉默，然后——
“Where is it?” said the reedy voice of the Committee member. “Where is the beast?”
“他在哪兒？”委員那尖利刺耳的聲音響了起來，“那只野獸在哪？”
“It was tied here!” said the executioner furiously. “I saw it! Just here!”
“它剛才就被綁在這里的。”劊子手憤怒地說，“我看見它就在這兒？”
“How extraordinary,” said Dumbledore. There was a note of amusement in his voice.
“多么的奇妙哇！”丹伯多說，在他在語調中有一絲驚喜。
“Beaky!” said Hagrid huskily.
“畢克碧！”哈格力焦急的叫著。
There was a swishing noise, and the thud of an axe.
一陣“嗖、嗖”的聲音，斧子一聲落在了地上。
The executioner seemed to have swung it into the fence in anger.
好像是劊子手憤怒地把它扔進了柵欄內。
And then came the howling, and this time they could hear Hagrid's words through his sobs.
然后，傳來了一陣哀號聲，這次，他們可以聽到哈格力的嗚咽聲了。
