There was a knock on Hagrid's front door. The execution party had arrived.
哈格力家的前門傳來了敲門聲，執行死刑的人到來了。
Hagrid turned, around and headed back into his cabin, leaving the back door ajar.
哈格力轉過身走向木屋，留下后門半開著。
Harry watched the grass flatten in patches all around the cabin and heard three pairs of feet retreating.
哈利看到南瓜地上的草又平了，聽到了三雙腳離去的聲音，
He, Ron, and Hermione had gone…
他、羅恩、還有荷米恩離去了。
but the Harry and Hermione hidden in the trees could now hear what was happening inside the cabin through the back door.
但是哈利和荷米恩藏在樹后可以透過后門聽到木屋里發生的一切。
“Where is the beast?” came the cold voice of Macnair.
“那只野獸在哪里？”傳來了馬可尼爾那冰冷的聲音。
“Out — outside,” Hagrid croaked.
“外……在外面，”哈格力結結巴巴地說。
Harry pulled his head out of sight as Macnair's face appeared at Hagrid's window, staring out at Buckbeak.
當馬可尼爾看向窗戶外面，盯著畢克碧的時候，哈利連忙將頭藏起來，
Then they heard Fudge.
然后他們聽到了法治的聲音。
“We — er — have to read you the official notice of execution, Hagrid. I'll make it quick.
“我們——嗯——不得不給讀給你關于死刑的官方通知，哈格力，我們要快一點。
And then you and Macnair need to sign it. Macnair, You're supposed to listen too, that's procedure —”
然后你和馬可尼爾要在上面簽名。馬可尼爾，你也要好好聽著。過程是——”
Macnair's face vanished from the window. It was now or never.
馬可尼爾的臉從窗戶處消失了，也許只有這么一下而已。
“Wait here,” Harry whispered to Hermione. “I'll do it.”
“在這兒等著。”哈利對荷米恩低聲說。“我去做。”
As Fudge's voice started again, Harry darted out from behind his tree,
法治的聲音又響了起來，哈利從樹后沖出跨過柵欄，
vaulted the fence into the pumpkin patch, and approached Buckbeak.
跑進南瓜地里，向畢克碧沖去。
“It is the decision of the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures that the Hippogriff Buckbeak,
“這是委員會關于處死危險動物畢克碧的決定，
hereafter called the condemned, shall he executed on the sixth of June at sundown —”
這個被宣判的動物應在六月六日日落之前被處以死刑。”
