So the research that I talk about in the book is about cleaners in a hospital who were able to see their work as a calling. Why? Because they interpret their work not as "I have to pick up the garbage and clean the toilet"- which they actually had to do, but more as "I'm taking care of these patients; because without my work, without me doing the excellent work, there'll be more pollution and more people hurt in the hospital.
