Rob: I see. Well, what does a police officer do on patrol?

Carl: Well, we stop crimes and we help people.

Rob: That's not an easy job.

Carl: I am a traffic cop. I patrol the roads and keep the streets safe.

Rob: That's important. Do you give tickets?

Carl: Yes, I do. Some people drive too fast. That isn't safe.

Rob: No, it's not.

Carl: And some people drive and talk on their cellphones. I give them tickets, too.

Rob: Good! That really isn't safe!
