'So it must've been really expensive...'
“那它一定很貴……”
'Probably cost more than all the Slytherins' brooms put together,' said Ron happily.
“很可能比斯萊特林隊所有的飛天掃帚加在一起還要貴。”羅恩高興地說。
'Well... who'd send Harry something as expensive as that, and not even tell him they'd sent it?' said Hermione.
“唔……誰會送哈利這樣貴重的東西，而且又不告訴他是誰呢？”赫敏問。
'Who cares?' said Ron, impatiently. 'Listen, Harry, can I have a go on it? Can I?'
“誰管這個呀？”羅恩不耐煩地說道，“聽著，哈利，我騎一下行嗎？行不行？”
'I don't think anyone should ride that broom just yet!' said Hermione shrilly.
“我認(rèn)為目前誰也不能騎它！”赫敏尖聲說。
Harry and Ron looked at her.
哈利和羅恩看著她。
'What d'you think Harry's going to do with it — sweep the floor?' said Ron.
“你以為哈利要拿它干什么——掃地嗎？”羅恩說。
But before Hermione could answer, Crookshanks sprang from Seamus's bed, right at Ron's chest.
但是赫敏還沒來得及回答，克魯克山就從西莫床上跳了下來，直奔羅恩的胸口。
'GET — HIM — OUT — OF — HERE!' Ron bellowed, as Crookshanks's claws ripped his pyjamas and Scabbers attempted a wild escape over his shoulder.
“把——它——從——這里——趕——出去！”羅恩吼道。這時克魯克山的爪子已經(jīng)撕開羅恩的晨衣，斑斑設(shè)法從羅恩肩膀上拼命逃跑。
Ron seized Scabbers by the tail and aimed a misjudged kick at Crookshanks which hit the trunk at the end of Harry's bed,
羅恩抓住斑斑的尾巴。對克魯克山踢了一腳，卻沒有踢中，踢在了哈利床腳的箱子上，
knocking it over and causing Ron to hop on the spot, howling with pain.
把箱子踢翻了。羅恩自己在原地單腿跳著，痛得直叫喚。
Crookshanks's fur suddenly stood on end. A shrill, tinny whistling was filling the room.
克魯克山的毛突然豎了起來，房間里充滿了尖尖的、微弱的叫聲。
The Pocket Sneakoscope had become dislodged from Uncle Vernon's old socks and was whirling and gleaming on the floor.
那個袖珍窺鏡從弗農(nóng)姨父的舊襪子里跌了出來，正在地板上旋轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)光。
'I forgot about that!' Harry said, bending down and picking up the Sneakoscope. 'I never wear those socks if I can help it...'
“我忘了這個東西了！”哈利說著，彎下身去把它撿起來。“只要有辦法，我決不穿這雙襪子……”
The Sneakoscope whirled and whistled in his palm.
窺鏡在他手掌上旋轉(zhuǎn)著發(fā)出哨聲。
Crookshanks was hissing and spitting at it.
克魯克山嘶嘶地叫著，對它噴了一口氣。
