There was another clap of thunder, followed immediately by forked lightning.

With a jolt of panic, Harry threw himself flat to the broom handle and zoomed towards the Snitch.

But something odd was happening.

An eerie silence was falling across the stadium.
跑道周圍臺階式看臺上出現一片因膽怯而產生的寂靜；
The wind, though as strong as ever, was forgetting to roar.
風雖然仍舊和以前一樣地強勁，卻忘記了吼叫，
It was as though someone had turned off the sound, as though Harry had gone suddenly deaf — what was going on?
好像有人把風聲關掉了，好像哈利突然之間聾了——發生什么事了呢？
