Harry and Hermione left the room with the rest of the class,
哈利和赫敏與班上的其他同學一起離開了教室，
who waited until they were well out of earshot, then burst into a furious tirade about Snape.
赫敏等到大家走得都聽不見了，才大聲怒罵起斯內普來。
'Snape's never been like this with any of our other Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers, even if he did want the job,' Harry said to Hermione.
“斯內普以前從來沒有這樣對待過教我們的其他黑魔法防御術的老師，就算他的確想來教我們的話，”哈利對赫敏說，
'Why's he got it in for Lupin? D'you think this is all because of the Boggart?'
“他為什么這樣對盧平呢？你說都因為那次博格特事件嗎？”
'I don't know,' said Hermione pensively. 'But I really hope Professor Lupin gets better soon...'
“不知道，”赫敏憂郁地說，“不過我真希望盧平教授會很快好起來……”
Ron caught up with them five minutes later, in a towering rage.
五分鐘以后羅恩趕上了他們，氣得不可開交。
'D'you know what that —' (he called Snape something that made Hermione say 'Ron!')
“你們知道那——（他罵了斯內普一句什么，弄得赫敏叫道：“羅恩！”）
'— is making me do? I've got to scrub out the bedpans in the hospital wing. Without magic!'
——叫我做什么嗎？叫我去擦醫院里的夜壺。還不準用魔法！”
He was breathing deeply, his fists clenched.
他氣得直喘，拳頭握得緊緊的。
'Why couldn't Black have hidden in Snape's office, eh? He could have finished him off for us!'
“布萊克為什么不能躲在斯內普辦公室呢，嗯？他可以替我們結果他呀！”
Harry woke extremely early next morning; so early that it was still dark.
第二天早晨，哈利絕早就醒了。因為太早，外面還漆黑一片。
For a moment he thought the roaring of the wind had woken him,
他起初以為是怒吼的狂風把他叫醒的，
then he felt a cold breeze on the back of his neck and sat bolt upright — Peeves the poltergeist had been floating next to him, blowing hard in his ear.
然后他覺得后脖子那里有一陣冷風，他一下子就坐了起來——捉弄人的皮皮鬼飄浮在他身邊，使勁向他耳朵里吹氣。
'What did you do that for?' said Harry furiously.
“你干嗎這樣吹？”哈利惱怒地問道。
Peeves puffed out his cheeks, blew hard and zoomed backwards out of the room, cackling.
皮皮鬼鼓脹了兩腮，吹得更加起勁，然后旋轉著退出房間，咯咯地笑著。
