'One moment, please!' she called, as the class made to leave.
“請(qǐng)等一會(huì)兒！”她叫道，因?yàn)檎麄€(gè)班級(jí)都要離開教室了。
'As you're all in my house, you should hand Hogsmeade permission forms to me before Hallowe'en.
“你們都是我這個(gè)學(xué)院的，你們應(yīng)該在萬圣節(jié)前夕以前把申請(qǐng)表交給我。
No form, no visiting the village, so don't forget!'
不交表，就別去霍格莫德。所以啊，你們都別忘了！”
Neville put up his hand. 'Please, Professor, I — I think I've lost —'
納威舉手。“教授，我——我想我那份表丟掉了——”
'Your grandmother sent yours to me directly, Longbottom,' said Professor McGonagall. 'She seemed to think it was safer.
“你奶奶直接把表交給我了，隆巴頓，”麥格教授說，“她好像認(rèn)為這樣做放心些。
Well, that's all, you may leave.'
好吧，沒什么了。你們可以離開了。”
'Ask her now,' Ron hissed at Harry.
“去問呀。”羅恩嘶聲對(duì)哈利說。
'Oh, but —' Hermione began.
“哦，不過——”赫敏開口說。
'Go for it, Harry,' said Ron stubbornly.
“去呀，哈利。”羅恩固執(zhí)地說。
Harry waited for the rest of the class to disappear, then headed nervously for Professor McGonagall's desk.
哈利等到大家都走了，才緊張地走到麥格教授的桌子面前。
'Yes, Potter?' Harry took a deep breath.
“唔，波特？”哈利深深地吸了口氣。
'Professor, my aunt and uncle — er — forgot to sign my form,' he said.
“教授，我的姨媽和姨父——哦——忘了給我的申請(qǐng)表簽名。”他說。
Professor McGonagall looked over her square spectacles at him, but didn't say anything.
麥格教授從她的方形眼鏡上方看著他，但是什么也沒有說。
'So — er — d'you think it would be all right — I mean, will it be OK if I — if I go to Hogsmeade?'
“那么——哦——您認(rèn)為行不行——我意思是說——我能不能——要是我到霍格莫德去，行不行呢？”
Professor McGonagall looked down and began shuffling papers on her desk.
麥格教授收回了目光，開始翻弄桌子上的紙張了。
'I'm afraid not, Potter,' she said. 'You heard what I said. No form, no visiting the village. That's the rule.'
“我怕是不行，波特，”她說，“你聽到我剛才說什么了。不交表，就別去。這是規(guī)定。”
'But — Professor, my aunt and uncle — you know, they're Muggles,
“可是——教授，我的姨媽和姨父——您知道的，他們都是麻瓜啊，
they don't really understand about — about Hogwarts forms and stuff,' Harry said, while Ron egged him on with vigorous nods.
他們并不真正理解——理解霍格沃茨的表格和人員。”哈利說，羅恩在一邊使勁點(diǎn)著頭鼓勵(lì)他。
