She almost touched him, almost, so close it made her grin. A strand of hair dangled in her eyes, limp with sweat. She pushed it away with the back of her hand.
她差一點就碰到他了，就差那么一點點，她禁不住得意地笑起來。一撮淌著汗水的頭發垂下，在她眼前晃來晃去，她用手背撥開。
Left, Syrio sang out. "Low." His sword was a blur, and the Small Hall echoed to the clack clack clack. "Left. Left. High. Left. Right. Left. Low. Left!"
“左。”西利歐叫道。“下。”他的劍快得看不清，喀喀聲響徹小廳。“左，左，上，左，右，左，下，左！”
The wooden blade caught her high in the breast, a sudden stinging blow that hurt all the more because it came from the wrong side. "Ow," she cried out. She would have a fresh bruise there by the time she went to sleep, somewhere out at sea. A bruise is a lesson, she told herself, and each lesson makes us better.
這一劍刺得很高，正中她的胸膛。她劇痛難忍，因為這次攻擊方向全然不對，打了她一個措手不及。“哎喲！”她叫道。看來，等今晚在海上某個地方睡覺的時候，胸部大概已經淤青一片了。每次受傷都是一次教訓，她告訴自己，而每次教訓都讓我們更強。
Syrio stepped back. "You are dead now."
西利歐后退。“你已經死了。”
Arya made a face. "You cheated," she said hotly. "You said left and you went right."
艾莉亞扮起鬼臉。“你作弊啦，”她氣沖沖地說，“你明明說左邊結果卻打右邊。”
Just so. And now you are a dead girl.
“就是這樣，你從此就是個死女孩了。”
But you lied!
“可你‘騙人’啊！”
My words lied. My eyes and my arm shouted out the truth, but you were not seeing.
“我的嘴巴騙人，我的眼睛和手說的可是真話，只是你視而不見。”
I was so, Arya said. "I watched you every second!"
“我哪里看不見，”艾莉亞說，“我每秒鐘都盯著你看！”
