Let's Go Shrimping!
去釣蝦啰！
Shrimp fishing, or shrimping, is a popular activity in Taiwan.
釣蝦在臺灣是很受歡迎的一項活動，
It's a fun and easy way to catch a meal.
那是好玩又輕松的方式來捕獲一餐美食。
Where do people go shrimping?
人們去哪里釣蝦呢？
One place is in Waishuangxi.
其中一個好地方是外雙溪，
There are many shrimp fishing places there.
那里有很多釣蝦場。
While shrimping is fun, it is not free.
雖然釣蝦很好玩，那可不是免費的。
You must rent a fishing pole.
你必須租一支釣竿；
You also need to buy some bait.
還需要買一些餌，
The bait will attract the shrimp so you can catch them.
餌會吸引蝦來，所以你可以釣到牠們；
You will also need a small net.
你還需要一個小網子。
Catching shrimp in a shrimping pool isn't too hard,
在釣蝦池釣蝦并不太難，
but you must be patient.
但是你必須要有耐心。
To catch shrimp, put the bait on two little hooks and put them into the water.
為了釣蝦，要把餌放在兩個小魚鉤上，然后放到水里。
Beginners catch about three shrimp an hour.
初學者一個小時差不多釣三只，
More experienced shrimpers can catch about 10.
比較有經驗的釣蝦客大概可以釣到十只，
One shrimper caught 100 shrimp in three hours!
曾經有釣客最高記錄是三小時釣一百只蝦！
New shrimp are added to the pool almost every hour.
每個小時都會添加新的蝦子到水池里，
These shrimp come from a shrimp farm and are clean and healthy to eat.
這些蝦子都是從養殖場送來的，干凈健康可安心食用。
Shrimp fishing is a good activity for people to do together.
釣蝦是個適合人們一起做的活動。
They can relax, talk, fish and, later, eat together.
大家可以放松、聊天、釣蝦，然后再一起吃。
After shrimp fishing, you can cook your own food or ask someone else to do it.
釣完蝦后，你可以烹調自己的食物，或是請人代勞。
If you want someone else to help you, give your net of shrimp to a cook.
如果你要別人代勞，就把你釣到那一網的蝦子拿給廚師，
The cook will prepare them.
他會烹調。
Or you can cook your own food near the fishing pool.
或者你也可以在釣蝦池旁烹煮你的食物，
Then you can enjoy a delicious meal.
那么你就得以享受美味的一餐。
The food tastes even better because you caught it yourself!
因為是你自己釣的，那蝦子也會特別美味。
