Stockholm is a little pearl. The people thereare quite modern, more relaxed and laid-back. On a day like this, you know,there's nowhere on Earth I'd rather be. It's... Stockholm is just perfect forme. There is a very vibrant, cultured scene in Stockholm: loads of museums,sculptures, and them there are the theaters-the national theaters, privatetheaters-concerts, and eventually there's going to be an Abba museum as well.

This is the Old Town, Gamla stan, you know,with the cobbled little alleys. This is where the city was founded back then inthe 1200s. There are lots of little coffee shops and restaurants everywhere,and they're all very, very good.

So this is the Cirkus theater. They'reactually rehearsing Cats here right now. This is where Benny Andersson and Idid our musicals-Kristina, Chess and Mama Mia!, so I have very fond memoriesfrom this place. Every time I sit in the audience and watch a show that I'vebeen involved with, it is such an amazing feeling knowing that they're actuallywatching and enjoying something that I have written.

Now we're off to the old recording studiowhere we used to record the first songs with Abba. Here we are. They call itAtlantis 5tudios today, and it doesn't look much, but it's quite famous. Thisis great. This is the very mixing desk that we used back then, recordedWaterloo, Mama Mia.

The water has always been very, veryimportant to me. You see the city in a different perspective. I have thehonorary title of executive producer of the movie Mama Mia! When we startedtalking about casting, we said, why don't we make one of the charactersSwedish, and the first person that came to mind was Stellan Skarsard.

But it's definitely the most beautiful cityin the world in my opinion. And did you know that about forty percent ofStockholm is parks? That's a lot.

And then all this water, as well, makes itvery airy.

Stockholm is unique. It is fourteenislands. There's no other city like that. It's quite spread out, and quite openand airy, with lots of parks.

Ah, this is so great, isn't it? Let me showyou around. What do you think about that, that view? Anyone who isstressed, who's got lots of problems, they're just washed off of you out here.AII you need is to sit like this, listening to the wind and the waves, gazingout over the sea. This place gives me such a sense of calm.
