This is the Warsaw Rising Museum, a greatplace to visit to learn more about Poland's recent history. Walking on thecobblestone streets with enemy fire in the background, you are transported6back to August 1,1944, when it all started, where civilians7 and soldiersfought for what they believed in. Men, women and children lost their livesfighting for freedom.

The Wedel Chocolate Lounge, located in thisbuilding for...um, from the beginning, since the late 19th century. It's theoldest chocolate lounge in Poland, so there's definitely history involved.Instead of the typical coffee shops that many of us know people like to come toenjoy hot and cold chocolate beverages made from Wedel's top-quality milkchocolate, dark chocolate, white, of course. Wedel is Poland's oldest chocolatebrand, with over 150 years of history.

This is a very popular bar, just off of oneof Warsaw's chicest streets, Nowa Swiat, very popular with the locals. Theyhave over 115 different types of vodka, chilled and ready to serve, [the]majority of which are Polish vodkas. And in addition to that, they make theirown vodka from herbs, fruit, spices, depending on the season.

They serve the best traditional Polishpierogi, or Polish dumplings, in Warsaw. Their motto is "only grandmothermakes better pierogis." Everything is handmade, natural ingredients. Everyday they make over 1,500 fresh, individual pierogis for their clients. You canserve them either boiled or fried. Usually people are split down the middlewhether they prefer one or the other.

No visit to our city's complete without astop at the Old Town Market Square. It was completely demolished during thewar, but rebuilt using Canaletto's paintings and drawings done by architecturalstudents before the war. Here we have the symbol of our city, the WarsawMermaid.
