A Bit Of Advice 一點忠告

A bit of advice for those about to retire. If you are only 65, never move to a retirement community.

這里想對將要退休者提一點忠告。如果你只有65歲的話，千萬別進退休社區。

Everybody else is in their 70s, 80s, or 90s.

因為那里人人都七八十歲或者八九十歲了。

So when something has to be moved, lifted or loaded, they yell,'Get the kid.'

每當要搬東西，抬東西或者裝東西時，他們就叫喊，“讓小的干吧。”

1.a bit of

a bit 后面加形容詞，用法和a little一樣

a bit of 后面加不可數名詞，意思：一點

但要注意：not a bit = not at all “毫不”

not a little = much 非常

此外還有a bit of a.......表示“有點像.......”

quite a bit 相當多

2.about to retire

be about to do：即將，將要做某事

eg：He is about to begin his term as president.

他行將開端他的總統任期。

3.moved, lifted or loaded

move：搬動

lift：抬起

load：裝載
