And this morning, I'd like to share a sentence pattern with you which is : S decree that S should do. In this sentence, "decree" means "to decide, judge or order something officially". From it's English explanation, we can see subjunctive should be used in this sentence. That S should do.是由that而引導(dǎo)的賓語從句，其謂語形式為should + 動(dòng)詞原形，偶爾也見到would + 動(dòng)詞原形。引導(dǎo)詞that 和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞should是可以省略的。

It was decreed that the following day should be a holiday. （其中should 可以改為would. ）即：It was decreed that the following day would be a holiday. 那么這個(gè)用would, 在牛津詞典里可以見到。
法令規(guī)定第二天為休息日。

The goverment decreed we be into a state of emergency.
政府下令我們要進(jìn)入緊張狀態(tài)了。

從上面2句可見，凡是含有賓語從句的復(fù)合句中的主句含有decree這個(gè)詞作為謂語，且意思是“規(guī)定”“下令”這2個(gè)意思的話，其后面的賓語從句要使用虛擬語氣。
