那是山羊們玩耍的地方呦。
Moni kept on climbing until he reached a little green mountain meadow. In this spot he often stayed for hours at a time while his animals grazed quietly about him. Sometimes Moni sat on a certain high rock, from which he could see far off through the valley.
莫尼繼續(xù)爬，直到到達(dá)山上一小塊綠色的草地上。他經(jīng)常在這里一待就是幾個(gè)小時(shí)，這時(shí)，他的山羊們就在他的周圍安靜地吃草。有時(shí)莫尼坐到一塊高高的巖石上，他從那里可以看到遠(yuǎn)離山谷的地方。
Today he took his little sack of bread and cheese from his back and laid it in a small hollow of the ground which he had long ago dug out. Then he threw himself down on the fragrant grass among the yellow rock-roses and purple gentians and looked happily about him.
這天，莫尼從背上取下一小袋面包和奶酪，把它放在他之前在地上挖好的一個(gè)小洞里。然后他在黃薔薇和紫龍膽之間、充滿芳香的草地上躺下來，高興地看著四周。
The sky was now a deep blue. On all sides of Moni were the high mountains with their snow-covered peaks that seemed to reach to the very sky itself. Moni lay whistling joyously, while a pleasant mountain breeze cooled his warm face. If he stopped whistling for a moment, the birds took up the song even more gayly than he, as they flew off into the blue sky. The goat boy was perfectly happy.
此時(shí)天空是一片深藍(lán)色的。四周盡是高山，山頂上覆蓋著白雪，似乎與天空相連。莫尼躺在那里歡快地吹著口哨，清涼的山風(fēng)吹拂在他那熱乎乎的小臉上。只要他的口哨聲一歇，鳥兒們就會飛向蔚藍(lán)的天空唱起歌來，甚至比他唱得更加歡快。莫尼感到無比開心。
From time to time Meggie, the youngest kid, would come up and rub her little head on Moni's shoulder. Then she would give a loving bleat and go around to the other side of the boy and rub against him once more.
最小的山羊梅吉會時(shí)不時(shí)地走過來，用她的小腦袋在莫尼的肩膀上蹭兩下。然后她親切地咩咩叫幾聲，再轉(zhuǎn)到男孩的另一邊蹭幾下。
