Mrs White: Hello. This is Mrs White speaking.

Xiaoling: May I speak to Miss White?
小玲：我可以和懷特小姐通電話嗎？
Mrs White: She's not here, I'm afraid.
懷特太太：恐怕懷特小姐不在。
Xiaoling: When will she come back?
小玲：她什么時候回來啊？
Mrs White: At lunch time, I think. Can I take a message for her?
懷特太太：我想她吃午飯的時候會回來。我替她留個口信吧？
Xiaoling: No,thanks.
小玲：不用了，謝謝。
Miss White: Hello.
懷特小姐：你好。
Xiaoling: Hello. Can I speak to Miss White?
小玲：你好。我可以和懷特小姐通電話嗎？
Miss White: Speaking. Who's that, please?
懷特小姐：我就是懷特小姐。請問你是誰？
Xiaoling: It's Xiaoling here.
小玲：我是小玲。
Miss White: Hello, Xiaoling. How are you?
懷特小姐：你好，小玲。你怎么樣啊？
Xiaoling: Very well, thanks. And you?
小玲：很好，謝謝你。你呢？
Miss White: I'm fine too. Thanks.

Xiaoling: I called you this morning. But you weren't at home.
小玲：今天上午我給你打過電話。但是你不在家。
Miss White: Sorry. I was at school this morning.
懷特小姐：對不起。今天上午我在學校。
Xiaoling: It's my birthday this Saturday. I'm having a big party at home! Would you like to come?
小玲：這個星期六是我的生日。我要在家舉辦一場盛大派對！你會來參加嗎？
Miss White: I'd love to. At what time is the party?
懷特小姐：我很樂意去。派對什么時候舉行？
Xiaoling: We'll start at one o'clock. See you this Saturday!
小玲：我們在1點開始。星期六見！
Miss White: See you then.
懷特小姐：到時候見。
