1. come out
講解：這是動詞性篤固定短語。《柯林斯詞典》中解釋道：When a new product such as a book or CD comes out, it becomes available to the public. 它是指(書或光盤)出版，發行。
范例：Christian Slater has a new movie coming out next month in which he plays a vigilante.
克里斯汀·史萊特有一部新片下月發行，他在片中扮演一個治安維持會成員。

2. save the day
講解：這是美國俚語，字面意思是“挽救了一天”。在俚語詞典中解釋如下：to do something that solves a serious problem。可以翻譯為：反敗為勝，轉危為安，化險為夷，扭轉局面，挽救局面。
范例：The forest was nearly out of control when suddenly it rained heavily and saved the day.

3. hire somebody as...
講解：這個短語結構中的as是介詞，意思是“作為”，它后面跟表示某種職位的名詞，即：hire somebody as something意思是“雇傭某人做什么工作”。
范例：I would like to hire Mary as my private secretary.
我想雇傭瑪麗做我的私人秘書。

4. be good at
講解：be good at是定容性固定短語，意思是“擅長于......”。介詞at后面可以接名詞或者是動名詞（短語）。那么臺詞中還出現be great at something，這個表示程度更深，翻譯為極為“擅長于......”。類似的表達還有“be skilled at”。它的反義詞是be weak at。
