這里的come out：是蘇醒的意思。
9. Martha: "That's it! I can put up with your debauchery and your food theft, but I will not tolerate spying. I want you out."
大家有沒有注意到，這句話中有2個相同意義的詞。Put up with=tolerate:都是忍受的意思。
10. Lynette: I hope this works. My sleep cycle is totally out of whack. I'm up all night, I'm dozing off during the day."
out of whack：out of proper order or shape
11. Dr. Chang: "I'm not licensed to write prescriptions.
" Prescriptions：處方，Dr.Chang的意思是，我沒有開處方的執照，所以她不能為LNYYETTE開任何要，在美國，開處方藥是嚴格要求的，不是什么醫生都有資格開的。好象在上海的醫院也有這種規定了，買處方要，一定有出示什么醫生或醫院開的處方單。

off the hook 1 : out of trouble 2 : free of responsibility or accountability

Bree: "I used to get so upset when Andrew and Danielle were little. I used their nap times to cry."
Lynette : "Why didn't you ever tell me this?"
Bree: "Oh, baby. Nobody likes to admit that they can't handle the pressure."
Susan: "I think it's just that we think that it's easier to keep it all in."
Lynette: "Well, we shouldn't. We should tell each other this stuff."
聽到她們的對話，真的覺得做母親不容易，把我們拉扯大，所以我們一定要對媽媽好，等我們長大了，一定要孝敬她們。
