"I have had it! That Byron has no business running this program!
"我忍無可忍！那個(gè)拜倫無權(quán)管這個(gè)項(xiàng)目！
I thought I might have it out with him someday, well, today was the day!"
我想我不如哪天跟他把這個(gè)問題解決了，今天就是個(gè)好日子！"
"Whoa, whoa. Slow down." Jeff said. "What's going on Mike?
"噓，噓，你慢點(diǎn)兒說。"杰夫說。"發(fā)生什么事了，麥克？
I don't have the foggiest idea what you're talking about!"
你說的話我壓根兒聽不惲！"
"Byron! The new manager! He's trying to take my job! Really.
"拜倫！是那個(gè)新來的經(jīng)理！他想搶我的工作！是真的。
It's like he has nothing better to do than make other people feel bad.
他好像除了讓別人難受就沒有更好的事情可做。
That's not management. That's cruelty!"
那不叫管理。那叫殘忍！"
"I know you have had mixed feelings from him since day one, but what happened?"
"我知道從第一天開始你對(duì)他就有復(fù)雜的感情，可到底發(fā)生了什么事？"
"Okay. Well you know he has nothing to do with the Panda Project, right?
"是這樣。你知道他與熊貓計(jì)劃是沒有關(guān)系的，是吧！
Well, he must have had his eye on it for a while,
可他一定是看上這個(gè)項(xiàng)目很久了，
because today he came into one of our meetings with an intimate knowledge of what I'm doing!
因?yàn)榻裉焖麃韰⒓恿宋覀兊囊粋€(gè)會(huì)，他對(duì)我做的事情居然了如指掌！
He said right away that he had many things on his mind about how we should do things differently and then he said them!
他馬上說他老惦記著這個(gè)事兒，說我們應(yīng)該如何改變做法——他還真說得頭頭是道！
Right in that meeting where he wasn't invited!"

"Wow! That is bold! Doesn't he already have enough irons in the fire?
"哇！那太放肆了！他不是同時(shí)有許多事情要做嗎？
Can't he trust experienced staff to do their own work?"
他就不能相信有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的員工，讓他們干自己的活兒?jiǎn)幔?quot;
"That's what I said!" Mike cut in.
"我就是這么說的！"麥克插嘴道。
"He didn't think I had it in me to talk back to him, but I did! He has had his day, and I've had mine.
"他沒想到我有勇氣跟他頂撞，可我才不管呢！他有過他的鼎盛時(shí)期，我也有過我的。
Now he knows how much is on my mind! Let him fire me!

See what I care! He has an insolence about him and someone needed to tell him!"
看我在乎什么？他有一股傲慢無禮的勁兒，得有人殺殺他的威風(fēng)！"
"Whew, Mike! Did anyone else back you up in the meeting?"
"喲,麥克！會(huì)上有其他人支持你嗎？"
Nope! Cowards!" Jeff was silent...
"沒有，都是些膽小鬼！"杰夫沉默了……
