87.決心已定
For the better part of a week, Yolanda could not decide! JFK Jr. or Warren?
大半個星期過去了，約蘭達都無法做出決定！小約翰·肯尼迪還是沃倫？
She could not forget about how she had dreamed for years about being with JFK,
她忘不了多年來她對肯尼迪是如何地單相思，
but she also would never be able to forgive herself for hurting Warren! Could a woman love two men?
可要傷害沃倫她也不能原諒自己。一個女人能同時愛兩個男人嗎？
For that matter, could two men allow one woman to love them both?
再說，兩個男人能允許一個女人同時愛他們兩個嗎？
She wouldn't decide for the moment, however.
不過她眼下不想做決定。
She had to wait to know for sure which man she loved the most.
她得等等看，確實弄清楚她最愛的是哪個。
And for the sake of both of them, she had to be right when she made her decision because she would regret it forever and a day if she were wrong!
為了他們兩人的利益，她得做出一個正確的決定，因為一旦錯了，她會永遠后悔的！
Destiny forced her hand: both men asked her to a special event on the same evening!
命運迫使她采取行動：兩個男人同時邀請她參加一個特殊的晚會！
For her own sake, Yolanda decided to go with JFK Jr.
為了她自已的利益，約蘭達決定和小約翰·肯尼迪一起去。
He was more famous, richer and better looking than Warren.
因為他比沃倫更有名、更有錢，而且更加英俊。
And for the good of her future, that was perhaps most important.
為了將來的利益——這一點也許最重要。
She was confident for the most part that this was the right choice.
總的來說，她自信這樣決定是對的。
Then Yolanda saw Warren at the dinner with another woman.
后來約蘭達在宴會上看到沃倫帶著另外一個女人。
She recognized the woman, however, as one who offered her body for sale on the street!
但她認為那女人是在街上出賣肉體的那種人！
Warren had hired her to accompany him!
沃倫不過是花錢讓她來陪他的！
Yolanda wanted to cry, but she controlled herself for time being and tried to stand closer to JFK Jr.
約蘭達想哭，但她暫時控制著自己，她想靠近小約翰·肯尼迪。
She couldn't. Other people surrounded him!
可她根本無法靠近，其他人正圍著他呢！
“I can't tell for the life of me if I made the wrong choice!” Yolanda thought!
我無論如何也搞不清楚我是否決定錯了！約蘭達想。
And then JFK Jr. saw her, stepped out of the crowd and came to see what was wrong.
這時小約翰·肯尼迪看見了她，他從人群中走出來看有什么不對。
He did care for her more than he cared for himself.
他關心她勝過他對自己的關心。
Yolanda's mood changed for the better.
所以約蘭達的心情一下變好了。
Yolanda told herself that she had been right, and that she would not doubt her decision for ever and ever.
約蘭達告訴自己她的決定是對的，她永遠不會懷疑自己的決定。
