When Martha looked in the classified ads she finally saw what she was looking for just below the section for classical music!
瑪莎在分類廣告時終于在古典音樂一欄下面看到了她要找的東西！
Clinging to the paper she rushed to the phone to make the phone call.
她緊盯著抓住那張報紙沖過去打電話。
Hanging up she jumped for joy!
打完電話，她高興地跳了起來！
Now all she had to do was clean up the counters of the restaurant, clear out the customers and close up for a 15-minute break!
現在她所有要做的事就是把旅館柜臺打掃干凈，把旅客趕走，停業15分鐘！
Her class work could wait until later that evening.
她的課堂作業可以等到晚上再做。
First she had to pick up what she had just foumd.
首先她得把剛剛發現的東西撿起來。
As she was clearing off the final table, however, her boss walked in!
但是，就在她清理最后一張桌子時，老板進來了！
"What are you doing, Martha? Trying to close down early? You know you can't do that!" he said.
“你在干什么瑪莎？想早點關門嗎？你知道你不能那樣的！”他說。
Martha was close to tears.
瑪莎差不多要哭了。
She'd never be able to clear it up with her boss if she even stepped out for a couple minutes.
哪怕只出去一兩分鐘嗎，她都永遠無法跟老板解釋清楚。
Now she would have to wait until her shift was over!
這下她只能等到下班了。
She kept working.
她繼續干他的工作。
Later, when her shift was almost finished her boss asked her to clean down the main refrigerator before she left!
后來，當她快要下班時，老板叫她走之前把大冰柜打掃干凈！
That would mean staying an hour later!
那意味著還得再呆一個鐘頭！
ARR-GHHH! Martha screamed in her head!
啊啊??！瑪莎的腦袋嗡地炸開了！
She was going to classify this as the worst workday of her life if she wasn't able to buy that thing!
如果買不了那個東西，她會把今天看成是一生中最糟糕的一天！
But she had to listen.
可她只能服從命令?！?/div>
Cleaning out the refrigerator was unbearable; she had to open all of the windows just to clear the air when she was done!
打掃冰柜的活兒真叫人無法忍受，干完活兒還得打開所有窗戶讓空氣清新！
But when everything was spic and span she quickly ran out.
等到一切收拾得干干凈凈，她趕快跑了出去?！?/div>
Martha came back and plopped in one of the restaurant chairs 10 minutes later and cried!
10分鐘后，瑪莎回來了，她一屁股坐在一把旅館椅子上大哭起來！
It was gone!
那東西沒有了！
All that anxiety for nothing!
