Listen to a conversation between two students.
請聽下面兩位學(xué)生之間的對話。
Woman: Hey mike, did you finish that article you were writing for the campus newspaper?
女：嗨，Mike,你完成了你在給校報寫的那篇文章嗎？
The one about the school play.
關(guān)于學(xué)校話劇的那篇。
Man: Not yet. Remember how I was going to interview the student who's directing it?
男：還沒呢。還記得我打算去采訪這出話劇的導(dǎo)演嗎？
Woman: Yeah, you said that was going to be a big part of the article.
女：當(dāng)然，你說過這在文章中會占很大一部分內(nèi)容。
Man: Right! And I was going to make my article about what the director said, since she knows about picking the play, choosing the cast, designing the set...everything!
男：沒錯！我原本打算按照導(dǎo)演所說的內(nèi)容來寫文章的，因為她對挑選劇本、選擇演員、設(shè)計場景以及所有事情都了如指掌。
But I just called and it turns out that she's got a bad cold...she's sick!
但是我給她打過電話，結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)她得了重感冒......她病了！
Woman: So you can't interview her?
女：所以你就不能采訪她了？
Man: Not today...no...but I have a couple of options.
男：今天不行......不過我有幾個選擇。
I could wait until she feels better, and interview her then...it's just that then the article wouldn't be done in time to go in this week's paper.
我可以一直等到她身體好一點再采訪她...只是到時候就來不及在本周報紙截稿日期之前把文章寫出來了。
Woman: Oh...so you'd have to put it in next week's paper then?
女：哦...那你就只能發(fā)表在下周的報紙上了？
Man: Yeah, and the play's opening this weekend...I mean, it's running next weekend, too, but it'd make more sense to have the article come out before the play opens.
男：是啊，可是這出話劇本周末就開演了，雖然下周末也還在演，但是文章要在話劇開演前發(fā)表才更合理啊。
Woman: I see what you mean. So, what's your other option?
女：我懂你說的。那你還有什么別的方案嗎？
Man: Well...I could interview an actor instead of the director.
男：嗯......采訪不了導(dǎo)演的話，我也可以選擇采訪一名演員。
I talked with one of the lead actors, and he said he'd be happy to do an interview today.
我跟其中一位主演聯(lián)系過了，他表示很樂意接受今天的采訪。
Woman: Sounds good! Then your article would come out before the play opens.
女：聽起來不錯啊！這樣你就可以趕在話劇開演前發(fā)表文章了。
Man: I know, but it's just that he probably wouldn't have as much to say as the director, I mean, he wouldn't know about everything that went into planning the play the way the director does.
男：我知道，可是他可能不像導(dǎo)演有那么多東西可說，畢竟他并不像導(dǎo)演那樣知曉籌備話劇的所有事情。
