呵呵~~ kick the bucket 其實表示死亡，去世之意，很令你意想不到吧！：）不過，這個詞組確實來源于踢桶這個動作。據說，古時人上吊時，繩子套上脖子后，把墊腳的桶一踢，人就吊在空中絕命了。所以就有了這個說法！
