Chinese President Xi Jinping urged Party committees and governments at all levels to care for and support military development and reform, proactively address the concerns and resolve difficulties for officers and soldiers, and further foster a positive social atmosphere that values national defense, supports the military, and honors military personnel. Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in a recent instruction, which was conveyed at a national conference on April 23, 2025 honoring model cities and counties in promoting mutual support between the military and the government and between the military and the people.
全國雙擁模范城（縣）命名大會(huì)于2025年4月23日在京召開。中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平對雙擁工作作出重要指示指出，各級黨委和政府要關(guān)心支持部隊(duì)建設(shè)和改革，主動(dòng)為廣大官兵排憂解難，進(jìn)一步營造關(guān)心國防、熱愛軍隊(duì)、尊崇軍人的良好社會(huì)氛圍。
The military should firmly establish a strong awareness of its fundamental purpose, actively support local construction and development, and take concrete actions to bring benefits and prosperity to the people.
軍隊(duì)要樹牢宗旨意識(shí)，積極支援地方建設(shè)發(fā)展，以實(shí)際行動(dòng)為人民造福興利。
