Small passenger vehicles will enjoy toll-free access on expressways during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday, the Ministry of Transport announced on Tuesday. The toll-free period will run from Jan 28 to Feb 4, spanning a total of 8 days.
交通運輸部21日消息，2025年春節假期小型客車上高速公路繼續免收通行費，免費通行時段起止時間為1月28日（除夕）00：00至2月4日（正月初七）24：00，共計8天。
Vehicles will be eligible for the toll-free policy based on the time they exit the toll lanes. Drivers approaching the end of the free period are advised to exit at the nearest toll station if they are close to the deadline but haven't reached their destination. This allows them to benefit from the toll-free policy for the previous journey and then re-enter the expressway to pay only for the remaining distance.
交通運輸部有關負責人提示，高速公路免費通行以車輛駛離出口收費車道的時間為準。假期即將結束時，如果行車時間已經接近免費時段截止時間，但還沒有到達目的地，可以選擇在就近收費站提前駛出高速公路，這樣此前的行程可以享受免費通行政策。此后，再就近駛入高速公路前往目的地，則只需繳納剩余行程的少部分費用。
Authorities recommend planning trips in advance to avoid speeding or rushing, ensuring both travel safety and maximum utilization of the toll-free policy.
交通運輸部負責人建議，司乘人員根據實際位置和時間，盡可能提前規劃，避免因趕時間、超速行駛引發安全事故，同時最大限度地享受免費政策。
