Spring Festival travel rush
春運
China ushered in the first day of the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush on January 14. Nine billion passenger trips are expected during this year's travel rush period that ends on February 22 — with both rail and air passenger trips set to hit record highs. More than 510 million passenger trips will be handled by the country's railways, and over 90 million civil aviation trips are forecast to be made during this 40-day travel season.
2025年春運從1月14日開始到2月22日結束，為期40天。今年春運期間，全社會跨區域人員流動量預計將達到90億人次，鐵路、民航客運量有望分別突破5.1億人次和9000萬人次，均創歷史新高。
