With the rising temperatures, a curious sight has been observed by many individuals strolling in yellow or green attire — tiny insects materializing on their clothes out of thin air, forming a dense and disconcerting spectacle that could be a nightmare for those with entomophobia.
隨著氣溫的升高，如果你穿著黃綠色衣服走在路上，會發現衣服上莫名出現一些小飛蟲，一眼看過去直接頭皮發麻，這對那些有昆蟲恐懼癥的人來說可能是一場噩夢。
But what is it about yellow and green hues that make them so appealing to bugs?
但是，為什么黃綠色這么容易招蟲子？
This is due to the taxis of insects. Taxis is the movement of insects towards or away from a stimulus. Simply put, the insect will fly in the direction of the environment that attracts it, such as temperature, light, chemicals, etc.
這要從昆蟲的趨性說起，趨性就是昆蟲對某種刺激進行趨向或背向的運動，簡單來說就是昆蟲會朝著吸引它的環境方向飛，比如溫度、光線、化學物質等，有趨熱性、趨光性、趨化性等習性之分。
Aphid and thrip are the most common insects that are attracted to yellow color. If you are in bright yellow and go to a place with a high concentration of aphids or thrips, your clothes will soon be covered with these bugs.
蚜蟲和薊馬是被黃色衣服吸引的主要成員。如果你身穿亮黃色的衣服到蚜蟲或薊馬聚集的地方，你的衣服很快就會密密麻麻地覆蓋上一層小蟲子。
Upon spotting these bugs alighting on your garments, it is prudent to promptly shake them off to prevent skin contact and potential allergic reactions. Refrain from swatting the insects with your hands, as this could lead to skin irritation.
當發現這些小蟲落在衣服上時，明智的做法是直接把它抖掉，為避免接觸皮膚而導致過敏。不要用手去拍打蟲子，因為這可能會刺激皮膚。
If a tiny insect inadvertently enters your eye, it is advisable to avoid rubbing your eyes haphazardly. Instead, flush your eyes with water to dislodge the intruder.
當小飛蟲誤入眼睛，建議不要隨便揉搓眼睛，用水洗掉即可。
Should these tiny creatures evoke a strong aversion, it may be pragmatic to abstain from donning yellow clothing during the spring and summer seasons, when insect activity peaks.
當然，如果實在厭惡這些小膩蟲，那么在春夏季節減少穿黃色衣服出門更加實際。
