The frontman of popular South Korean group Big Bang is many things: singer, songwriter, dancer and, of course, fashion icon. For the 25-year-old (birth name Kwon Ji-yong) 2013 was certainly an unforgettable year. It proved he is currently one of the hottest artists in the K-Pop scene.
作為韓國人氣團體Big Bang的主唱， G-Dragon（本名：權志龍）不僅集歌手、歌曲作家、舞者于一身，還是個不折不扣的時尚偶像。對于25歲的他而言，2013年無疑是令他難忘的一年。事實證明，他是當今韓國樂壇最炙手可熱的藝人之一。
In September, G-Dragon released his solo album Coup d’Etat, which debuted at No 182 on the US’ Billboard 200 chart. In November, he won Artist of the Year at the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards, one of the major K-pop music award ceremonies. He is the first solo artist to have won the title.
2013年9月，權志龍發行了個人專輯《Coup d’Etat》，并首次登上美國公告牌200強榜單，名列第182位。同年11月，他在韓國樂壇重量級頒獎禮之一的第15屆Mnet亞洲音樂盛典上榮獲“年度最佳歌手”大獎，成為首個獲得該獎項的獨唱藝人。
His collaborations with big international artists have helped his growing global influence. For example, in the album Coup d’Etat, he worked with Sky Ferreira and Missy Elliott. He has also recorded a yet unreleased song with Justin Bieber.
