President Xi Jinping is set to sign off deals worth more than 46 billion US dollars, during his two day state visit to Pakistan, which begins on Monday.
Most of the agreements cover financing for infrastructure projects in Pakistan. China's president is hoping to deepen overall economic and strategic cooperation with Pakistan. It will be his first official state visit to Pakistan since taking office in 2013.
President Xi will later fly on to Indonesia, to attend the Asian-African Conference, known as the Bandung Conference, which is marking its 60th year.
