昨天，國家互聯網信息辦公室發布《互聯網用戶賬號名稱管理規定》，簡稱“賬號十條”。規定自今年3月1日起實施，互聯網企業將對機構和個人賬號的名稱、頭像、簡介等注冊信息進行審核，按照“后臺實名、前臺自愿”的原則，對含有違法和不良信息的賬號不予注冊。

Nicknames in cyberspace such as "Obama" and "Putin" are no longer available for netizens in China as the country vows to crack down on inappropriate and unlawful screen names, an industry regulator said on Wednesday.
互聯網行業監管部門周三表示，中國將整治不恰當或違法的網名，像“奧巴馬”和“普京”這類網名將不再允許使用。

國家網信辦表示，假冒黨政機關（pretend to be government organizations），假冒名人包括外國元首，如“普京”“奧巴馬”；宣揚邪教和淫穢（advertise cults or pornography），危害國家安全（damage State security）等網名將被禁止。
新規涉及在博客、微博客、即時通信工具（messaging applications）、社交網絡工具（social networking tools）等互聯網信息服務中注冊使用的所有賬號（registered account names），將于3月1日起實施（take effect）。
網站運營商（Website operators）和互聯網公司（Internet companies）要對賬號信息進行核實（verify），暫停使用違法賬號，保證網絡空間（cyberspace）的整潔（clean and tidy）。
