Is the Cat There?
貓在那兒嗎？
A man absolutely hated his wife's cat and decided to get rid of him one day by driving him 20 blocks from his home and leaving him at the park.
一個人無比痛恨他妻子的貓，他決定把它處理掉。于是一天他開車來到離家二十個街區遠的地方，把貓扔在了停車場。
As he was getting home, the cat was walking up the driveway.
他回到家的時候，發現那只貓正沿著門前的私家車道走來。
The next day he decided to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home.
第二天，他決定把貓送到離家四十個街區開外的地方，他把貓扔出去后就開車回家了。
Driving back up his driveway, there was the cat!
他把車開上自家車道時，發現那只貓又在那里了。
He kept taking the cat further and further and the cat would always beat him home.
他堅持不懈地把貓送到越來越遠的地方扔掉，可是貓總是能在他前面回到家。
At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right until he reaced what he thought was a safe disance from his home and left the cat there.
最后，他決定把貓送到更遠的地方，一路上右轉、左轉、過橋、右轉、再右轉，直到他認為離家夠遠了，就把貓留在了那里。
Hours later the man calls home to his wife, "Honey, is the cat there?"
幾個小時后，他打電話回家問他的妻子：“親愛的，貓在家嗎？”
"Yes," the wife answers, "why do you ask?"
“當然，”他妻子答道：“為什么這么問？”
Frustrated, the man answered, "Put that son of a bitch on the phone. I'm lost and need directions!"
那人無比懊喪地說：“讓那個混蛋接電話，我迷路了，需要它幫我指道！”
