托比的回憶
My name is Toby．
我叫托比，
I'm an old man，eighty-three this spring．
一位年邁的老人，今年春天年過83歲。
My house is right in the middle of Stratford-upon-Avon，and I can watch the street market from my window．
家住艾汶河畔斯特拉福鎮(zhèn)中心，透過窗戶，便可以望到街道的鬧市。
But I live very quietly now．
我的生活平和寧靜，
I'm just an old man，sitting in a chair．
畢竟我已是一位要在輪椅上安度晚年的老頭子了。
I once knew the greatest man in England．
我曾認識英國的一位最偉大的人物。
For thirty years I was his friend．
我與他相交30年，
I worked with him in the theatre，through the good times and the bad time．
同在劇團工作，也共同度過人生中歡樂與艱辛的歲月。
He was a good friend to me．
他是我的好友。
