Only two of his more than twenty shots found its target. Having done a few shoot-arounds with him, he's a pretty good shot - pretty good shot." Obama, a 51-year-old lefty, is an avid basketball enthusiast. It's not unusual for him to play in pickup games at a Washington area military base on the weekends.

Three dead in 75-vehicle pile-up in U.S.

This fog-shrouded stretch of highway in the U.S. state of Virginia was the scene of a 75-vehicle pile-up on Sunday. Three people were killed and 25 injured in the crash.

UNIDENTIFIED ACCIDENT VICTIM, SAYING: "We had stopped, we had seen there was some carnage in front of us and then all of a sudden behind us, the UPS truck came and side swiped our entire car on one side. We thought we were both dead." Joe Carrabba, who was driving along the interstate, said he was lucky to be alive.

Helplessness in Mauritius, as people get swept away by flood waters. It's thought they were later saved, but others were not so lucky. Flash floods hit this island nation in the Indian Ocean Saturday, killing ten people. Emergency services recovered the bodies of victims on Sunday, most of whom were trapped in this underpass in the capitol, Port Louis. By Monday, a full scale clean-up and aid operation was in effect. But some residents say they're pulling themselves out from the sludge -- on their own.

Weather forecasts expected showers for Monday, with isolated thunderstorms, all of which could cause more flooding on an island that's just still trying to pick up the pieces.
