You are on the right track
你干得很漂亮,就該這樣走下去。
【Andrew’s Note】
It's high praise to tell someone that he or she is on the right track.
告訴別人他(她)做得對(duì),這是對(duì)他人的高度贊揚(yáng)。
[1] Marsha presented a market survey report to the general manager, Mr. Thomson. She took great pains to write a perfect report about the future development of their products.
[2] She was a newcomer in the elite New York based company and tried to find a niche for herself(適得其所)in the large office.
[3] The manager was totally hooked on her article and showed great interest in her. After reading through the whole thing, the boss was as happy as a king(非常幸福/快樂), lavish in his praise (稱贊過分)for her.
[4] At night he made a point of inviting her to join him for supper. They drank their fill and then the boss made much of her report. He could not praise her too highly at dinner. And of course she was feeling in seventh heaven(極樂世界; 最高幸福) because her efforts had paid off and won her a fixed position in the company.
[5] The boss said finally, "Marsha, you are on the right track at this point. You are a talented person whose abilities should be brought into full play in my company. "
