2.pamper：嬌養(yǎng)；嬌寵；遷就
She pampers her husband, lavishing him with care and attention.
她十分遷就丈夫，對(duì)他關(guān)愛有加。
3.jump all over：[口]叱責(zé)
If you're late again, she's going to jump all over you.
你要是再遲到，她就要對(duì)你厲聲叱責(zé)的。
4.jump down sb.'s throat：[俚]使某人無(wú)話可說(shuō)；駁得某人啞口無(wú)言
Don't try to blame the manager for any wrongdoing, or he'll jump down your throat and accuse you of slander.
別想指控經(jīng)理犯有任何過錯(cuò)，不然他會(huì)反過來(lái)指責(zé)你誹謗而叫你啞口無(wú)言。
5.take upon oneself：承擔(dān)；毅然；大膽
The honest man never shifts (推卸) blame (pass the buck) but tries to take the consequences upon himself.
這個(gè)誠(chéng)實(shí)的人從來(lái)都不推卸責(zé)任，而是主動(dòng)自己承擔(dān)后果。
