At a quarter to eleven on Saturday,

Brian, Jenny and Danny arrive at the zoo.

At eleven o'clock, the zoo is open.

They go through the entrance.

They see a sign. Danger!

Do not feed the animals!

No Photos

Why can't we take photos?

Maybe photos would surprise the animals.

There are all kinds of fierce animals here.

We don't want to make them mad.

I'm fierce, too.

Danger! Wild dinosaur! Grrr!

Look! There's the bear cage.

But where's the bear? I see him.

He's very, very big!

He's also very lazy.

It's nearly noon, and he's still sleeping.

Maybe he doesn't know it's spring.

Bears sleep all winter.

But I want to make friends with him.

Wake up, Mr. Bear!

You can't give donuts to a bear!

They visit all kinds of animals.
