Jasper White is one of those rare people who believes in ancient myths. He has just boughta new house in the city, but ever since he moved in, he has had trouble with cars and their owners. When he returns home at night, he always finds that someone has parked a caroutside his gate. Because of this, he has not been able to get his own car into his garage even once. Jasper has put up 'No Parking' signs outside his gate, but these have not had any effect. Now he has put an ugly stone head over the gate. It is one of the ugliestfaces I have ever seen. I asked him what it was and he told me that it was Medusa, theGorgon. Jasper hopes that she will turn cars and their owners to stone. But none of them has been turned to stone yet!

第一步：會合成

1）who, whom, that
第一句：He is the boss.
第二句：The boss wants to see you. 　
他就是 （想要見你的）那個老板。　
定語從句：He is the boss (who wants to see you).

2) Whose 用來指人或物，(只用作定語, 若指物，它還可以同of which互換), 例如：　
第一句：They rushed over to help the man.
第二句：His car had broken down.
定語從句：They rushed over to help the man whose car had broken down.

3）which, that　　　
第一句：A prosperity appears in the countryside.
第二句：The prosperity had never been seen before.
定語從句：A prosperity which / that had never been seen before appears in the countryside. 農村出現了前所未 有的繁榮。　
被修飾的名詞——先行詞（被修飾的名詞或代詞）
連接詞（替換詞）——關系詞

第二步：分析關系詞做什么成分。（主語or賓語）

第三步：劃分主從句（如何找到定語從句）

1）從關系詞that/which/who/whom/whose 前面畫一個括號。
2）跨過定語從句中的謂語動詞，第二個謂語動詞之前斷開括回。
