James: Morning, Rupert.
詹姆斯：早上好，魯伯特。
Rupert: Morning. Where are you going?
魯伯特：早上好。你要去哪里？
James: My visa expires in June. I have to renew it.
詹姆斯：我的簽證6月份就到期了，我得去給簽證延期。
Rupert: So you are not going back home yet. Are you planning for permanent residence?
魯伯特：這么說你還不準(zhǔn)備回國(guó)。你是打算一直待在這里嗎？
James: No. I wish to first accumulate some work experience in Canada. I have worked as an intern at a company, now I want to continue my work there after graduation for a few years.
詹姆斯：不是。我想先在加拿大積累些工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)。我之前在一家公司實(shí)習(xí)，現(xiàn)在準(zhǔn)備畢業(yè)后多在那里工作幾年。
Rupert: If so, do you need to change the status of your visa from a study permit to a work permit?
魯伯特：這樣的話，你是不是需要把你的簽證從留學(xué)許可改成工作許可？
James: I do. Fortunately, for a three-year study program, I could apply for a work permit with a validity of up to three years. After that, I'm going back to my home country to find a job.
詹姆斯：沒錯(cuò)。幸運(yùn)的是，對(duì)于為期3年的學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目，我申請(qǐng)的工作許可證最長(zhǎng)可 以是3年。之后我就準(zhǔn)備回國(guó)去找工作。
