Nora: I can't see why would people like to go to Singapore for college?
諾拉：我不明白為什么要去新加坡讀大學呢？
Kelly: I know some people think universities in Asian countries are not good enough. But that's quite mistaken.
凱利：我知道有些人認為亞洲國家的大學不夠好，這樣想就不對了。
Nora: I don't look down upon Asian universities. I just think, how to say, they are not different enough from our own, like European or American universities.
諾拉：我沒有看輕亞洲大學的意思。我只是覺得，相比歐洲和美洲，它們跟我們 國家的大學差異不夠大而已。
Kelly: Singapore has some top-ranking universities, compared with those Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, etc. Their programs in economy, engineering, biology and many others are of very high quality.
凱利：新加坡有些頂級大學，像南洋理工大學，新加坡國立大學等等。這些學校 的經濟、工程、生物等各類學科都有很高的質量。
Nora: Is that so? But I still prefer non-Asian countries.
諾拉：是嗎？但我還是首選非亞洲國家。
Kelly: There is also the economic factor to consider. It must be acknowledged that many middle class families couldn't afford the high cost in European countries, but can send their children to Asian countries.
凱利：還有經濟因素要考慮。必須承認許多中產階級家庭負擔不起去歐洲的高昂 費用，卻可以送他們的孩子去亞洲留學。
Nora: I didn't think of that before.
