Catherine: My pleasure. The ecipe of the stew-like kimchi varies widely by ,as almost every family has their own secret family recipe for kimchi. And I'd like to tell you the secret of making good kimchi jjigae in my house.

Mrs. Hill: That would be very nice! Is kimchi jjigae difficult to make?
希爾太太：那非常好呀！泡菜湯很難做嗎？
Catherine: Not at all. Three basic steps are enough.
凱瑟琳：根本就不難。三個(gè)基本步驟就足夠了。
Mrs. Hill: Oh, really?
希爾太太：哦，真的呀？
Catherine: Yes. First you should use the kimchi juice, then add miso, lastly add butter.
凱瑟琳：是呀。首先你得用泡菜汁，然后加入味噌湯，最后加入黃油就可以啦。
Mrs. Hill: Miso? Is that a Japanese food?
希爾太太：味噌湯？那是一種日本食品吧？
Catherine: Yes, but it adds an earthy flavor which nicely fits the sour flavor of kimchi.
凱瑟琳：是的，但是它會(huì)加入一種泥土的香味，這種味道和泡菜的酸味非常契合。
Mrs. Hill: So, you absorb the advantages of other ingredients. No wonder your kimchi jjigae is the best one that I've ever tasted.
